This was the best Christmas ever! Being able to spend it with family and friends for the first time in years made it so special.
We took Phil’s mom to Overly’s to look at the Christmas decorations.Overly's Country Christmas is a nationally recognized holiday light display that has been featured on "Good Morning America" and other ABC, NBC and CBS affiliated television programs.
The Display had its early beginnings over fifty years ago, when Harry Overly first decorated his rural Armbrust, PA, home with just a few strands of lights. It has since grown into a huge display held at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds, and the proceeds go to children’s charities.
The day before Christmas Eve we went to Phil’s mom’s to give her her presents and to take her to dinner.
We gave her a Kindle and a Miche bag with two shells. We then went to Caparella’s for a terrific Italian meal.
Christmas day, Alicia came to our house. We had dinner and opened presents.
We also invited one of the inspectors that Phil works with, Sam.
What a feast we had! Ham, potato salad, green beans, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, cinnamon pickles, sweet pickles, rolls, and homemade angel food cake and chocolate pie were on the menu.
After dinner we opened presents with Alicia. Of course, Ms. Chloe had presents and a stocking, also.

Christmas evening we went to Phil’s sister Leigh’s house for appetizers, and to hang out with the whole family.
Zack is always the center of attention at all the family get togethers.

Christmas night we were packing, getting ready to leave the next morning for Danville, VA, to see my two sons and my Dad and Mama Ann. Those pictures will be in the next blog.
Kinda sad when its all over isn't it? looks like you had a super time.
